We’re so excited to be adding Knitbot patterns to Doodlebug. One day I looked at my Ravelry queue and realized that I had 3 Knitbot designs lined up and I knew I had to add these great designs to the store.
Hannah Fettig is the designer behind Knitbot. I love her sense of style – very clean lines with special details that make the designs very wearable. Many of the designs feature a simple top down construction which make them suitable for even very new knitters.
One of my favorites is Effortless Cardigan. This would look lovely in a lot of yarns but I love the choice of Tosh DK. This simple but elegant pattern will really highlight the beautiful colors of handpainted yarns.
Or if pullovers are more your style, how about a Lightweight Pullover? There are a lot of yarn possibilities for this – you could go for a very economical project with Cascade 220 Sport where you could knit this sweater for under $35. Or you could choose something truly luxurious like Madelinetosh Pashmina with it’s lovely blend of wool, silk and cashmere. This is a design that you could really make your own, from casual to elegant.
All Knitbot patterns are vigorously edited, laid out with custom illustrations and charts and come on heavy paper stock in full color. Hannah has been busy updating some of her popular designs and we’ll have the full line very soon.
