I interrupted my gift knitting a bit this past weekend to knit some Santa Hat ornaments. Super fast and easy, each hat only took a couple hours to make. I did one in the traditional Santa colors and just to be different, another one in oposite colors.
I’m down to just a couple more gifts but they will have to be stealth projects since they might be for someone who lives with me. One is this cute Kindle cover. The pattern is Media Pocket by Jeffrey Schindler. I love this pattern because it comes in various sizes to fit different generations of Kindles and I-Pads.
The other project I need to make is a second Yukidama. I made one for myself to match my Fuyu and someone might have mentioned how much they like it and wanted one of their very own. I love this hat – it’s so nice and warm with the slip stitch brim.
The winner of our final holiday themed price is Carrie McBride. Congrats Carrie and all of our holiday winners! We’ll be sure to do more contests in January when we celebrate selfish knitting. Good luck on finishing up your gift knitting. Remember, you’re in the home stretch now!
