Winner + How to Earn Free Yarn

Malabrigo Arroyo in Candombe

Thanks to everyone who entered our contest this month!  It’s been great to talk about Malabrigo this month as we celebrate the launch of 2012′s first MFPP eBook, Hot Child in the City.  The Random Number Generator has chosen comment #38 by Roz (heydear on Ravelry)  as the winner of our yarny prize – 2 skeins of Arroyo and 1 PDF copy of the Tribune Scarf & Shawl.  We’ve earburned our winner in the Doodlebug Yarns group on Ravelry so that she can claim her prize!

At Doodlebug Yarn, we like to reward those customers who are nearest and dearest to our hearts.  Those of you who order frequently earn points for each purchase (that’s 1 point for every dollar spent at Doodlebug Yarn, less taxes, shipping charges and discounts).   There’s no need for you to keep track – once your account hits $250, you can hit ‘redeem’ and we’ll automatically deduct $25 from your next order.  There are no codes to enter or other hoops to jump through – simply place your orders via your customer account and you’re on your way to earning free yarn!

We also have a brand-new affiliate program for our fellow bloggers.  To get started, send an email to gayla@doodlebugyarn.com with your blog url
contact information, ravelry & twitter id and preferred contact email address.  We’ll send you a graphic with a coupon code offering your readers $5 off their purchase of $25 or more – simply place on your blog’s sidebar with a link back to our shop.  For every five customers you refer to our site, we’ll send you a gift certificate for $25!  Your level of participation is completely up to you:  if you’d like to write product review or link back to our store withn your blog posts to encourage our readers to redeem your code, that’s great!  If you’d rather place the graphic on your website and leave the rest to chance, that’s fine too.  You can earn as much or as little free yarn as you like through this exciting new program.

Treat yourself to fantastic yarn all year long – for more information about both of these programs, click here!
